Take a Tour
My passion is Texas. Texans invent and create and they trust me with their stories.
This new series comes from the backroads of Texas. Airing now on all 14 Texas NEXSTAR stations.
Working at stations like KCBS in Los Angeles and WFAA in Dallas has given me the opportunity to tell stories around the world like the surreal time with George Clooney’s parents and a Kentucky funeral home director. Or visiting the world’s largest house pet just east of Dallas. I’ve always made it a point to try different things like creating the world’s only outdoor cubicle on an overpass in Dallas and a pier in San Diego. And the magic of the Alarm Clock Pep Rallies where entire high school student bodies, bands and teams would pack their gyms before the sun came up for our televised live segments. A sample of some of it is right here.

The first Phoning it in half hour special I shot entirely on my iPhone 6.
A more recent Phoning it in half hour special with home base in a phone booth! Where else would I do it?

The incredible Doug Burgess shot this spot news piece from Seattle. It helped him win the coveted NPPA photographer of the year award.
Live segments are fun. Here are a bunch from San Diego and LA.
